The challenge
Edutor needed to govern licensed educational content, assessments and student tablets across four markets, so that only authorized users and devices could open content, online or offline. Cosyn Ltd needed secure subjective exams on managed tablets without depending on internet access.
What the system had to handle
- Only authorized users and devices can open licensed content
- Content and exams that keep working offline
- Distraction-free student tablets under remote administrative control
- Thousands of concurrent users in four markets
Our role
End-to-end technology partner across the Edutor product suite and the Cosyn Ltd exam platform: requirements, architecture, Android, iOS and Windows apps, backend, deployment and infrastructure.

What we built
Device-bound textbook delivery engine
Teachers assign or revoke digital textbooks per student, in step with institutional repositories. Books are side-loaded or downloaded on demand, and publishers control licences through the Ignitor portal, on Android, iOS and Windows.
Encrypted media players and authoring tools
A proprietary encrypted video format, FFmpeg-based players with real-time decryption, and SCORM/EPUB-aware automated content packaging. 70%+ less manual packaging.
Secured mobile learning platform
Offline-first, device-bound learning for classrooms, distance education and test prep, with timetabled content and usage analytics.
